Aryna Sabalenka
Sabalenka was conceived in Minsk. Sergey Sabalenka (d. 2019) is her hockey-playing father. Aryna Sabalenka was born on May 5th, 1998, at Minsk Belarus. Her twelve WTA singles victories include the Grand Slam, the 2023 Australian Open. When it comes to doubles, she's also an outstanding player. She's been a winner of two Majors with Elise Mertens: her US Open in 2019 and the Australian Open in 2021. With her, the Belgian tennis star, she won WTA 1000s at Indian Wells in 2019 and Miami. Women's doubles only had four teams achieve this feat. There were only four couples that achieved this feat when playing women's doubles. The same year she won in Melbourne before she went to the top spot worldwide when it comes to doubles. Dmitry Tursunov coached her between 2018 and the end of 2019 and also a beginning of 2020. The pair also briefly worked with Dieter Kindlmann in August until September of 2020. Antonio Dubrov is her coach who has been with her since the beginning of 2020. Serena Williams & Maria Sharapova are her main inspirations.
